Katie Sullivan is The Cicala Law Firm’s Director of Research and has worked with Joanne Cicala on the prosecution of health-related claims in the public space for over a decade.  Katie manages, supervises and co-ordinates the work of all Cicala Law analysts, paralegals and interns as they support Cicala Law Attorneys in case development and prosecution.  Katie oversees all big data and data mining projects and interfaces routinely with the Cicala Law network and software experts.  Katie maintains the Cicala Law research repository to ensure the effective and efficient use of legal and factual materials.

Katie excels at factual and legal research and investigations, analyzing and managing complex claims data, managing complex case calendars and organizing/managing vast e-discovery productions, including productions containing highly sensitive confidential information.

Katie graduated with a BA with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007.  Since graduating, Katie has worked or studied in the legal fields continuously.  Her core competencies have been ably applied in the fields of health care fraud, securities fraud, tort litigation, estate planning and corporate law.

Prior to joining The Cicala Law Firm, Katie worked as an undergraduate law clerk at the Law Offices of Broadus Spivey, a legal assistant at Hughes Vanderburg Williams PLLC and a legal analyst at the Texas branch of the New York law firm Kirby McInerney, LLP.  While at Kirby McInerney, Katie was an integral member of the healthcare team led by Joanne Cicala.
